To usher in the future of the American legion post, a brand new state of the art facility will be constructed for American Legion Speedway Post 500, directly adjacent to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We will build a new 60,000 square foot building that will house a state-of-the-art Event Center, a Fitness Center, a Club Room & Bar, an outdoor Live Entertainment Venue, Live Gaming Facilities, a memorializing Half-mile Brick Path, a Cafe, and much more!

This project aims not only to create a new space, but also to transform the image of the American Legion Post, ensuring its relevance and impact in serving our veterans, their families, and our communities. In addition to serving the local Veteran members and community year round, this facility will be a major revenue generator to support our military through nonprofits, and an inspiration for other American Legion posts to follow across the country to attract younger generations of veterans and their families. Programs which will be implemented through Post 500 include Character Education for Students, Flag Education, a Historical Museum, Community Center, Food Truck, and a Fitness Facility.
